This year worthy clients LV= and Healix International have both been shortlisted in the Specialist / Innovative Product of the Year category for the coveted Cover Excellence Awards.
So the court is set, who are the contenders?
Healix International, have been nominated on account of their unique Medical Screening Service, which enables companies to better protect over seas workers by navigating risk prior to dispatch.

Moreish played a proud role in creating a state of the art presentation for the Healix Medical Screening Service. Built in InDesign and treated in After Effects, the easily accessed and shared PDF was retouched to have implemented video, and enabled the Medical Screening Service to be consistently and dynamically sold by third parties.
In the Financial services corner, we have LV=, whose highly acclaimed and innovative Risk Reality Calculator, has created much buzz in the Financial Adviser sphere. ‘It will never happen to me’ apathy is one common barrier Financial Advisers know all too well in the selling of Income Protection, which is a type insurance that protects people in the event of them becoming unable to work due to various factors. Despite Which? rating Income Protection as the most needed form of insurance, advisers still faced difficulties communicating this need to clients. Until now. LV=’s Risk Reality Calculator, developed by Moreish uses just four personal details about a client (age, sex, smoker status and retirement date) to calculate the likelihood of them being unable to work for two months or more, suffering a serious illness, or dying – and the probability of any of these happening before a chosen age, instantly enables clients to grasp the importance of protection.
The personalisation of these statistics, drove the need for protection home for clients and for one provider increased sales by 48%. One financial Adviser network, The Charles Derby Group noted,
